Migration: a need or a desire or an adventure?

Migration for free and systems primarily for Linux still produces much talk and discussions. Who is "militant" Open source in the world knows how difficult it is dialogue between the parties involved. Radicalism is always there on the "Free" or "Closed" in the situation. In my opinion it is always important to consider all sides especially if the Free Software is the side that is most prominent ;-) . The most common terms is a work environment where colleagues have their own views and clear on the matter at this time the conflict of ideas is almost impossible to be avoided.

In my case in particular, have a colleague who is totally anti-Linux, anti-and pro-Free Software Microsoft. The case is so critical that if somebody says that's shares fell 0.1% MS is like giving a "slap" on his face! But like almost all people in computer graft he has a minimum of sense and logic apply in their reasoning. Thus, this fellow is sometimes puzzled by the popularity and media that Linux has gained recently. Facing this and the fact that work on a public body that does not spend much with software, that my colleague "is convinced" to try to migrate to Linux and Free Software, but he is very methodical and he welcomes the formalities solved narrate so ironic humored and this attempt to migration. He said he will tell everything in the Journal of Nave Linux [1], decided to call as this adventure, he said.

In the first post [2] it has been his contact with Firefox, perhaps the most free software in the lives of many people. My colleague also asked me to write about this case, what I want to do it primarily as a mediator / moderator to avoid nonsense big against freedom of ideas and choices. In fact I am skeptical about the good success of this migration, but without doubt this hi (|) e storia worth it!
