Over the years I have seen many problems of incompatibility of document formats mostly. Doc. It is increasingly common to see a looking for: "Who is the MS Office 2003, 2007 or XP? And do I need to open a file and save to a previous version. " I almost always answer this way: "If wore OpenOffice or BrOffice not had these problems!", But many simply ignore the possibilities of Free Software in general. Reading this post in the US-linux.org, I noticed that with the launch of MS Office 2007 and its OpenXML format many still scrolling with this salad of mutually incompatible formats. But the solution to the problem remains the same: to install OpenOffice, BrOffice or StarOffice. What some people still do not know is that there is already an ODF converter for OpenXML to fully functional and available. It is the odf-converter available even for Ubuntu / Debian on the site http://www.getdeb.net ready for install, can also be found in odf-converter-integrator. I already use and recommend!
Yeah people, install OpenOffice and kill those jealous of his colleagues who are unable to open a simple OpenXML, even with MS Office installed!
